The militias being investigated are called simply "right-wing" and "anti-government," but these hate groups, like the Ku Klux Klan, all have bible-based agendas. Timothy McVeigh is a Catholic. The Oklahoma City bomb was detonated on the anniversary of the raid on David Koresh's Christian militia in Waco.
Ignoring the obvious religious connections here, everyone seems eager to turn this tragedy into an opportunity to acknowledge a deity. Oklahoma City invited Billy Graham and President Clinton to pray publicly to their god in an effort to lend some "meaning" to it all. Don't they see the irrationality of praying to this supposedly omniscient and omnipotent deity?
If I had known what was about to happen at 9:02 a.m. on April 19, and if I had had the ability to prevent the horror, I would have tried. Wouldn't you?
But Billy Graham's all-knowing God (let's pretend he exists) observed the truck being loaded with explosives. He sat alongside the driver on the trip from Kansas, knowing what he had in mind. He noticed the laughing children entering the day-care center.
Graham's all-powerful "God of love" easily could have prevented the detonation. Yet he did nothing.
Graham and Clinton should not be asking their God for comfort. They should be asking him, "Whose side are you on?"
What would you call someone who could have stopped the killing, yet sat by and let it happen? I would call him an accomplice.
Yet FBI Director Louis Freeh, knowing that his main suspect is Catholic and is associated with Christian right-wing militia groups, called the Oklahoma bombing a "godless act."
There is no reason for our government to equate "godless" with "evil." The facts of history show that most terrorism and war have some kind of religious motivation. The recent chemical warfare in Japan waged by the "Supreme Truth" religious cult is one example. Since Christianity has a history of bloody persecution, wouldn't it make more sense for Freeh to identify religion as the culprit here?
After all, Jesus reportedly said, "I came not to send peace, but a sword." This sounds like "Christian terrorism" to me.

hmmmmmmmm sure they have equal rights in this society but most molvies today tend to use religion to control other people...they encourage people that ONLY they should know the religion they are to be asked if people have problem about religion, they encourage they should be asked to read people the meaning of quran...well so on and on....
well guys this is a part of a previous post i've posted. i'm posting it again coz it's related and some ppl may not have read it. here goes
from mullah I mean the people who pretend to be scholars and authority on religion, which they are not. As they say "neem hakeem khatra jaan, neem "mullah" khatra Imaan." These are the people who spread hatred and misconceptions about our great religion. They make it sound so difficult, radical, hard to follow and unattractive that we are distracted and we consider it impossible to be followed. However, the true "ulema" and scholars of the religion really are VERY great people. They are the ones because of whom Islam is spreading in four corners of the world.. They do not consider themselves the ultimate or the best and consider themselves as students. In fact, any scholar whether he is a religious scholar or any other is to be respected greatly. These are the people who are the destiny of any nation. If these have a great influence in the society the nation is bound to flourish. The downfall of a nation starts when these people are shunned. And when a scholar is also a teacher and that also a religious teacher who spreads the message of God! Well… . Such a person even if he dies is survived by his teachings, his message and his students. Can u say that Einstein is dead? In Pakistan there are some religious that I really respect like Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Malik etc.

What Islam means very few people understand. Yes it's good to follow the basics. But beard rakhna is a sunnah. But sirf beard rakhnay say, ya topi pehennay say, one doesn't become a muslim. Islam is a religion of application. What one learns one should comprehend. I have seen people who look so Islamic when it comes down to their physical appearance, yet when they open their mouth and the things come out Astaghfirullah. It makes you ashamed that such people call themselves muslims. Yes Maulvis are muslims. THey are also people. But they shouldn't use their power to control people. It's a muslim's duty to share his/her knowledge with a fellow muslim, but wether they follow or not is upto them. For example you can make someone hold a pencil but you can't make them write. They gotta do it themselves.
When Prophet Hazrat Muhammad S.A.W. tried to have his uncle Hazrat Abu Talib say Kalima before he passed away, and he didn't, the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. was clearly unhappy and it was natural of him to feel that way since the late was his uncle. Lakin jis ko Allah chahay hiddayat day. Banday kuch naheen kar saktay.
Coming to your question Nadeem Yes maulvis are muslims. I have seen those people who are not only muslims Physically but also internally. They are living a life of what a pure muslim should be made of and frankly speaking they are very satisfied in their lives. MashaAllah.
But one should always keep in mind kay deen aur duniya dono saath chaltay hain. They both go hand in hand. The example of this world is like an airport.
When you are at an airport, if you don't like the color of the carpet or the kind of chairs they have used for the passengers you don't change them cause you are only their for a while. THe world is exactly like that.
Follow the quran, (Allah's orders) and sunnah. And don't hurt anyone. If anyone does these things there is no way they wouldn't be successful in this world and the life hereafter.
Rather over coming their profound ignorance about Islaam some morons have simply chosen the path to start their rhetoric on assumptions. The ulama are the inheritors of the Prophets. It is a famous hadith shareef. We MUST respect the ulama of Islam! It is due to the brain-washing of the Muslim world by the dominant WEstern (mostly Judeo-Christian) media that many of todays youth and adults disrespect the ulama of Islam; Our beloved Prophet Sayyedina Muhammad sal Allahu alayhiwasallam said that Allah will take away knowledge by the death of the scholars. And that is a sign of the DAy of Judgement [alaamaat-e-sughra]...
May Allah give all of us the intelligence to love and respect these great men who have and are fighting for Islam for the past 1400 years; if more Muslims tried to emulate them in our actions we wouldn't be in the pathetic condition we are in today as an Ummah...
