The role of a daughter

I would like some clarification from the Islamic point of view on what the role of a daughter is. For example, it is a known fact that in Islam, obidience toward the parents except in the matters of shirk, is of utmost importance, as well as developing the attitude of willingly serving them. Is this true for girls as well who get married and then have a shift of priority?

What are the fine lines, the requirements and situations?

Re: The role of a daughter

Interesting.

I guess I'll go get information somewhere else.

:salam2:

you may insha Allah find the detailed answer from the following shor tafseer in urdu… it is the tafseer of whole surah Nissa which has a portion with this as well..

I know it’s long… but it’s worth it.. after all it is a tafseer of a whole surah ..
