well i read the article on monday i guess and it seems it was written more due to immaturity, fear and frustration than facts...
now coming to the topic firstly i dont see there is any chance of taliban taking over karachi no way they cant sustain it, even if they destroy MQM they would have to face population from interiors of sindh who would never want to loose karachi, their supplylines would be cut and they would be marginalized.
now to be very frank i dont think there is much of difference between MQM and taliban both are fascist and two sides of same coin.
and also we are not living in perfect karachi but karachi where criminals rule and does it make much of difference, furthermore i would like warn MQM if they really want to make sure taliban ideology not to come to khi then they better try to do something about street crimes as they are part of GOVERNMENT if these continue to rise people would accept anything to get rid of that menace and to be very frank these arent done by pathans only although i had been robbed once and those guys were pushtoons and it seems criminals have free ride doesnt matter which ethnicity they belong to.
but after the episode of the white corolla case and mr hajiyano who is sindhi by the way i am seriously considering keeping a weapon with myself specially when with the family, reason i am saying considering is it has risks as well sometime you make a move on petty issues or in rage which you shouldnt have.
furthermore what i would like to tell these MQM supporters you are best at making a fuss, making a mountain out of a mole and you are targeting pushtoon in the name of taliban that if God forbid taliban took over khi you would see those wont be just pushtoon but majority of them would be locals therefore stop your bull crap and concentrate on law and order side and dont let it become a ideology acceptable to people because their security is at stake.
by the way what happened in lahore doesnt mean taliban control it but it means they can strike and now matter how many pushtoos mqm kick out of khi taliban would still be able to do that kind of thing...
