For my edification, please distinguish between a Muslim and an Islamist. And, explain how an Islamist-based or an Islamist nation differs from one where Shariah law is applied.

islamist is from the dictionary of US right wing organisations like as the Rand Corporation who made recommendations to United States and European government on how to attack muslims and their beliefs see their publication such as RAND Publication, Civil Democratic Islam: Partners, Resources, Strategies

As a muslim we only recognise the shariah based defintion of a muslim i.e a person who believes in allah(swt), his messenger (saw), quran, day of judgement etc.

So as a muslim should’nt use this word islamist it is from the organisations that attack the muslims why would a sincere muslim accept such a definition.
