the rate isn't so rapid that the majority would be muslim now but in the distant future, if we're looking at a majority muslim population then majority would vote for a muslim president, obama is the present president and is clearly a christian, i'm saying distant future since the there's a rise in muslim converts just in the last 10 years

^^ You have a point although America is a "part" of this world not the whole world! Also it wont be possible because if such happened then there might be no Battle at Armageddon, which has to occur!

i love the christian ideals that the US constitution is based on. even if most wouldn't call it a christian majority and more a secular country, the christian influence is obvious.
I hope to never see sharia laws enforced if it does become muslim majority in the distant future. no offense intended to muslims

huh? i didn't understand. it's great that islam is spreading in america and more people are embracing it and becoming muslim americans, i've studied islam and i'll be honest and say there is an attraction to it, i can see why so many are submitting. but as much as i've exposed myself to it and like it and as much as i love the united states, it would be difficult to see it as a muslim country with sharia, if that makes sense.

do you really need other books or google to study islam? the quran, i read it a while back with the assistance of learned muslims on some of the more difficult verses, since interpretations of some verses need to be done with the guidance of islamic scholars or atleast ones that know the quran inside and out. i had muslim friends in college too so i was exposed to islamic culture most of that time.
would never trust google searches in understanding any religion.

Its nice to know, that you are reading from the source itself. Now that you have studied Islam, what is stopping you to accept the truth?
Usually, people dont accept Islam becoz they never study it. Now that you have studied it and cleared your doubts what is stopping you from accepting Islam? Can you let us know?

when a person converts to Islam and says La Ilaha Illallahu Muhammadur (akri) Rasulullah Allah, he/she has to accept everything about it wholeheartedly and totally fall in love with the religion before submitting. there are a couple of things i don't agree with though along with loving the many things that are beautiful in islam. i'm still having things clarified about islam plus I still love lots of things about hinduism too.
especially verse 4:11 of BG, i hold close to my heart b/c it shows that all religions/beliefs lead to the same God: “Whatever wish men(all human beings) bring me in worship, that wish I grant them. Whatever path(belief/religion) men(all human beings) travel is my path: no matter where they walk it leads to me.”
this one verse gives me total peace of mind.
i was actually studying hinduism too with a friend that was of the advaita school of thought, the way he explains the religion made me fall in love with most parts of the religion again but even then interpretation of verses in BG, vedas,upanishads by each individual can vary. so for me personally i take all the beautiful things i love about every religion i've studied, including christianity and parts of buddhism and use it towards my everyday life. I can't seem to devote myself to only one religion.
it gives me so much inner peace taking only the positives of each religion, combining them and ignoring the certain verses i have a hard time accepting.
