If you liked the sixth sense then this is the movie you don’t wanna miss, can’t say if its better than sixth sense but good enough to creep you out wih its freaky concept!
Rating 6.5/10
NOte: Tag along with two “single” female friends and then I safely can assure you every penny will be worth it, otherwise money back
sorry to say that I didn't think it was that great at all............it lacked a certain je ne sais quoi...........it was slow, and I was looking for a real freak me out horror movie, it was disappointing..........although it did play with your mind...........save your money!!
There will be a sequal to The Ring, where your question will be answered. But for now, the ending is : The girl(Samara) in the bottom of the well wanted to heard. She wanted people to know what happened to her, so the reason Samara didn't kill Racheal was that she was the first one who made a copy of that video, and whoever makes a copy of it, doesn't die, as you see in the end, Racheal holds her hands son and is pressing the copy button.

No doubt there will be a sequel....the movie's grossed 65 million already and still going strong!
The Ring has got to be the scariest movie I have ever seen. I am a 23 year old girl and I was pretty much freaking out in the movie theatre. Unfortunately, my date was just as terrified and that didn't help the situation!!
Yeah, it was definitely creepy and scary. I think it was a fantastic story line though. It wasn't a blood-bath like most horror flicks...it was more psychologically disturbing and definitely plays with your mind.
I had to sleep with the light on after watching it. I'm still afraid to tell you the truth.....
I must say that if I ever have a daughter, I will never allow her to grow her hair like Samara's!!
The Ring is actually a remake of a Japanese film, that was made after some Japanese man wrote the book. In Japan, they made a prequel and sequel to The Ring and also turned it into a t.v. show. Furthermore, the original Japanese version of The Ring is supposed to be even more psychologically disturbing than the remake in the theatres right now.
I'm getting scared again just thinking about this movie..... (::
