the right thing to do?

the guy and his family seem okay, moderately religious but definitely muslims however value humanity etc they speak abt ikhlaq alot,..like alot.

however the guys brother if you spoke to him you would never guess, but on fb has liked a few atheist posts..now is he really atheist who knows? why is liking such posts idk…
would it be wise to pursue such a rishta? and is his brother really atheist? he prayed at our house once and speaks about religion pretty normally. the post he has shared say otherwise..if nothing they make him look confused..he has also like maybe 2 islamic pages. so what is he? his family def know he is sharing such posts, he has them on fb ..so nothing is hidden from them.

the guy himself is your average muslim for the lack of a better term. At least at this age and stage of his life, very muslim. his brother seems pretty gumrah.

Re: the right thing to do?

Who’s pursuing the brother anyway? Get to know the guy himself, his values, goals, passions, lifestyle, compatibility and all that good stuff.

I’ve seen that the people who talk the most about characteristics that are important to them (behavior, personality, character), don’t actually practice it in real life, and I do include myself in this category. It’s like all talk but no action, see the list here 6 Ways to Spot All Talk No Action
