someone financially stable who can provide for their daughters, emotionally mature who can handle responsibility and someone who respects them. that's all my dad cared about. actually my dad wasn't too too big on financial stability because i am financially very strong so he said "paisa haath ki mail hai, aaj hai kal nahi". he cared more about emotional maturity and respect/love.
