i dont believe in many things my mother does, as i’ve said before … but because i’ve grown up with something, it takes time to detach oneself from any such belief. it’s not even about being able to detach … but more about this unconscious adherence to something that you’ve being indoctrinated with. you know you shouldnt do it, but something holds you back … not for yourself, but for your parents …
and i know the next argument would be about “this is exactly the mindset Quran talks about” … well … i am not talking about religion and morality here … it’s more of psycology and fighting with something you’ve been taught to believe, but you dont …
