Yes, I’ve used it in marinades before, usually when I am broiling something in the oven but still want to have a taste of outdoor grilling or “smoke”
Gemini - awesome recipe! I tried it today and it was delish…i usually make chanay a different way…this was so quick and easy and yummy. I think i went a bit happy with the mashing tho lol next time will do less mashing and let them stay more whole.

We do get coals here in Australia Alhumdulillah so no problem for us. But yes these smoke flavour liquids I have also seen, you can try that.

According to many people, I make the best suji ka halwa, zeeray wale chawal, dahi ballay, naans, pizza dough, and chicken breast cooked in various ways.

So here comes the Suji Halwa recipe. I made it today when Pak won the match ![]()
AFayiz, If I’m a guest again here, I’ll post something with chicken breast =)
You’ll need :
Add one cup of sugar in 2 cups of milk, crush the cardamoms and add it to the milk. Let it boil.
In a nonstick pan add the salted butter and suji, let it cook on medium heat. Once it starts lookish pinkinsh increase the heat and keep stirring(you can add the kishmish right now if you want).
Then add the boiled milk in 3 parts in the bhuna hua sujji. Mix well.
Once done, decorate it with crushed almonds and whole almonds.
