my aunt told me that once her husband took their young sons (8 & 6) to the gym pool, and they were showering after that. They were still wearing their swimming trunks in the shower, but others were not. Obviously kids look around, and one of my cousins started laughing, and when his dad asked him why, he said “Baba, why does that man have a beard down there?”

So, no matter how much you try to not look, its going to happen. I suggest not showering at the gym. Just wipe yourself down with a towel and shower at home.
