ANywyas, i did a search online and this is what i found:

Q 3. This question is from my mother who wanted to know if it is permissible for women to pray the namaaz-e-janaazah with jamaat, which is of course led by the imam?
A 3. Salatul Janazah (funeral prayer) is a Fard Kifayah on men. It means that in a community some Muslims should perform it. If a Muslim dies in a community and some Muslims pray the funeral prayer for that person, then it is enough on behalf of every one. However, if no one does that then the whole community is sinful due to this negligence. It is permissible for women to pray Salatul Janazah with other Muslims in Jama’ah, but it is not obligatory on them. They do not have to leave their homes to attend the funeral prayer, but if they are available or wish to go to the funeral prayer, they are allowed to do so.
ALso:
931. Umm Atiyyah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: We (womenfolk) were prohibited from accompanying a funeral procession, but we were not compelled (not to do so).
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary: Women have been prohibited from walking along the bier so as to escape mixing with men. Yet, they have room for participation when there is no danger of mixing with men. Here, lack of a hardened stance means that women, if and when required, can walk side by side with the bier but not without meeting the prerequisites. The orthodox Ulama', therefore, call this Shariah restraint by the name of (suggestive prohibition). (Fath Al-Bari).
I am not sure how authentic this stuff is but the second one seems to be from Saheeh Bukhari so its a trustable source. WaAllahu Alam.
Hope this helps brother ![]()

Bro let uz chat, I think you should ask people for sources: its okay and preferred to do so. You dont want people to give you wrong info, and you dont want to be the one to pass it on ![]()

We have a Maroc mosque here, with a separate place for ladies, and we've often participated in the jannaza namaz.
i think they can, i dont have any source but ive seen n have prayed namaz janazah in a mosque.. with other women..
i dont know following is true?
prayers annulled by women, monkeys or dogs passing in front,
* Narrated 'Aisha: The things which annul the prayers were mentioned before me. They said, "Prayer is annulled by a dog, a donkey and a woman (if they pass in front of the praying people)." I said, "You have made us (i.e. women) dogs. I saw the Prophet praying while I used to lie in my bed between him and the Qibla. Whenever I was in need of something, I would slip away, for I disliked to face him." (Sahih Bukhari 1.490, also Sahih Bukhari 1.493)
Re: the reason behind muslim women not being allowed to pray namaaz-e-janaza!!!
i agree with u @ Ira that 2nd one was a authentic source…
In Makkah and in Madina, after every namaz, there is a namaz-e-janaza. Every person gets up and participate. I believe that women also. I will check with my mom as she used to be in ladies section when we were there.
Re: the reason behind muslim women not being allowed to pray namaaz-e-janaza!!!
