Response to the “comment” on Is France on the way to becoming an Islamic state?
Showkot took the trouble of copy/pasting an article by Babra Ameil and then the liberty of posting a his/her insightful comments at the end of this article, which is more like some mumbo jumbo preached by a mullah at the mosque on a Friday.
He/ she reasons that the spread of Islam in Europe is due to “Hikma and dawah”, which is a hypocritical statement. It is true that Islam is spreading worldwide, however, not due to mass conversions, as Muslims would have you believe, but in reality, Islam is spreading in Europe and America etc. due to the Freedom Tolerance and Free-will, practiced in these Christian-secular nations. Evidently resulting in a steady influx of immigrants from Muslim countries, and a rapid growth of families among them. This is probably one of, if not the major factors of Islam is spreading rapidly worldwide. Obviously, the same cannot be said for most Muslim countries, where preaching and propogating any other religion other than Islam is punishable by death. Apostacy is strictly forbidden in these Muslim countries, which take their instructions directly from the Quran. It is a common-place thing to hear news about religious persecutions of non-Muslims in Islamic nations, where fanatism is rampant. (This seems ironic especially when Muslims make a big hue and cry about some nonsensical issue like the hijab, in a non-Muslim country.)
Inspite of this Apostacy from Islam is a common thing among many, who declare the same, either while in hiding in their own country or after fleeing to liberated countries of Europe, America etc..
Please visit these sites and preach your Hikma and dawah to these apostates who have fallen astray instead of dialoguing in the safe zone of this site.
As Muslims, it is your religious duty to bring back these Ex-muslims into the fold (or at least attempt to) instead of simply copy / pasting Muslim world news, and being mellow about it. This will be the real test for Islam, to bring back people who believe that THEY were “worshiping false things” and have abandoned these beliefs.
Well, maybe it’s the same liberties and freedoms that these people are looking to escape frpm…You see, if the mind is enslaved, doesn’t matter if the body is free…Islam sets the mind free…That is one reason the Muslims of intellect even under pain of death and torture refuse to give up their religion…In fact when the Crusaders came to Jerusalem and conquered it for while, were flabbergasted by this phenomema…They couldn;t figure out why these Muslims won’t even lie about their faith to save themselves…
So you see, once someone becomes a slave of Allah :swt:, he doesn’t remain a slave to popular sentiment, popular beliefs, consumerism or capitalism…So all these people reverting around the world are reverting to escape mental bondage…If a mind is enslaved, it doesn’t do good to be physically free…
As for those apostates who left, all I see is a site made up of people who were never Muslims and are out to defame Islam…A popular ploy…In fact I can say that I was a Christian and I left Christianity or Judaism or blah blah blah because blah blah…Rubbish and trash…
As for the apostates who leave Islam, good riddance…We could without such people in Islam who have no conviction and faith…A mass of befuddled and confused souls whose only abode is hellfire for not having nurtured their faiths in Allah :swt:…If Allah :swt: doesn’t guide them, no one can…I am not about to waste my time with them…
People leave religion, people join religion. Had it not been for people leaving religion in droves i suppose my family would have been hindu or zoroastrian or something.
Let ppl leave and let people join, whats the big deal really ;)

Where does it state its my duty to bring them back into the fold of Islam? And how is this a test for "Islam"? As far as I recall from my readings, its all over the Qur'an how most people do not believe in it, so I dont see this argument really.
It would be ludicrous for me to tell a Christian what he needs to do to be a proper Christian and tell him that unless he does missionary work and tells people to return to Christianity that he isnt being a good Christian. What do you think his response to me would be? sigh
