MULTAN: A religious school teacher allegedly chopped off the tongue of his 13-year-old student to destroy evidence after he allegedly saw the teacher sodomising another student, his family said. Abdul Quddoos saw his teacher Bashir Ahmed sexually assaulting a student in a side room of the school in the small town of Yazman near Multan more than a week ago. Abdul Quddoos’ father Haq Nawaz told reporters at a local hospital late Thursday that the teacher had warned his son not to disclose it to anyone otherwise he would cut out his tongue. But he did not take the warning seriously and informed his parents about the incident. “The teacher caught Abdul Quddoos on September 3 and chopped off his tongue with a razor,” Nawaz said. Abdul Quddoos has now been shifted to the Nishtar Hospital, Multan, for surgery, but he is still unable to speak, Nawaz said. He added that no arrest had been made so far. Local police chief Hamid Mukhtar said Nawaz had not yet lodged any complaint with the police.
I haven;t heard about this.. But if this is true, then this Mullah should also be put in prison for a long time... Let him be an example to all the corrupt mullahs in our country...
He shouldn't just be put in jail, he should have his tongue cut out first along with another part of his anatomy. Then he should be made to share a cell with the biggest, hairiest homosexual prisoner they can find so he can learn what it's like to be on the receiving end.

What is going on? Imagine this 13 year old boy taking the courage to tell his parents... imagine him going to this religious school to learn more about Islam, and then he sees his own maulvi teacher committing sodomy against his friend, then his tongue gets cut off by this Muslim teacher.
With such Muslims, who needs Sharon, Bush, Rumsfeld. We are our own worst enemies.

I have said it again and again... just because you dont like US policies does not make anyone opposing US a good guy. the sooner we see it the better.
I mean we have cartoosn like al mohajiroun and HT, yip yaping about everything. I mean the whole group reminds me of mohallay ki buaas who sit around badmouthign everythign and everyone..Not that they will ever do something.
we have to sort out ignorance and extremism and general idiots from such positions.
We have to share in the blame, things got bad because we let them get this bad. I have walked away from religious organizations because i could nto stand the narrow mindedness of some people there. Everyime I did that , my mum would say. "you are choosing to let them represent your faith" well we all did this, some of us fell for their "save islam" banners some of us walked away becuase we could not deal with these idiots.
It is high time that we take action individually and collectively to start a movement of reform and cleansing in our institutions, especially those serving as soapboxes for idiots like these.
i am so pleased that the govt has proposed initiatives to regulate madrassas like other schools. I wish the govt go a step further and start qualifying who can be an imam or a maulvi. That may help keep idiots out.
