I could care less about Amir Liaqat, but your argument doesn’t make sense… evidence in the form of a video has been produced to “incriminate” him (so to speak)… now the onus is on him to refute that evidence which he hasn’t done or been able to do.

How about bringing the scholar/qari/naat-khwaan who were present with him in that video as witnesses that he never uttered these words in their presence. Now that, would be momentous defence of his claim that the video is fake. It’s been four days now since the video surfaced and it shouldn’t have been too hard to bring in these people or obtain their testimonials.

I think you missed my ealier post in which I said the same thing that those who were pesent in video should refute or support him.

Now, absence of that does not automatically make ALH video real. That’s ll.

As an observer, if something is so blatantly unusual or off the limits, we should never make a judgement based on mere few minutes video, a video which is not even properly made!

All these questions I have raised before and also **the reasons why this video COULD be fake.

**His views on some issues could make him a target of slandering.

**Is it not possible some elements inside (or outside Pakistan) are ticked off by his positions on certain political/religious issues, …plus the professional jealousy?

Aamir Liaqat has committed no crime. Just some supposedly off-the-camera fun. Believing it or not or waiting for directives from London, is individual judgement. He is innocent in legal terms.

The video creators, however, have committed a crime if the video is fake. He should be able to take them to court in a libel suite and get compensation and apologies (if he knows the video makers, which he claims to).

From word innocent I did not mean any sort of legal crime.
