you know how you can allow or disallow comments in a blog entry, can i do this for just one entry? and how?

when you're writing your entry, before you post the entry, scroll down a bit and look for options, and u can either un-select the box where it says allow comments to be posted (that way no comments will be posted at all...like i won't be able to see the comments text box) or click on moderate comments, that way ppl can post comments, but only you can approve them so the ones u want can be shown to everyone.

so i’m gonna go and untick the comments in the option screen, so does that mean no-one will be able to comment on every entry as of now, or does it mean just the recent entry comments will not be allowed?

ohhh ok i gotcha ...its ok my mind was running a bit slow too. coffee just kicked in :D
if you edit that for just that blog post, then no one can comment on just that blog post. it won't affect the rest of the blog posts. the only way that you can not let anyone post in all of the blog entries is by going into the blog control panel, and the place where you do the whole "let my buddies see my blog" option, somewhere there it should say the same thing, that allow comments to be posted or moderate comments before being displayed.

ok khummi, go now to my blog and tell me if you see a comment box in my recent entry and then view one of my prev entries and see if you see a comment box and post a comment plz.

yes i can and i just posted one too. well in the recent ones. and in the old ones i can still see the comments box.
