Masjid Qasim Khan at it again! They have announced first ramadan to be on monday. So KPK will have separate eid and ramadan.

This popalzai is a prime example of why people are skeptical of maulvis

Right! Just announced a while ago. ramadan moon has been sighted in KPK only and their ramadan started! So it's tuesday for the regulars like us :p

umm that can’t be possible? It would make Shaaban shorter than 29 days I think.

LOL! Thats what people are trying to tell Masjid Qasim Khan maulvis. Height of stupidity. And news coming in that they promised not to hold a moon sighting sitting tonight and promised to hold one on monday.

Well since most people believe in starting Ramadan after physically sighting the moon, isn't it possible they may have sighted it earlier due to their geographic location? We already have different dates in different countries, therefore different provinces should be able to do it different times too.

What is Pakistan 2 days behind is? Isn't it 29th for you all on sunday - hence moon sighting should have been done?

It's 30th of Shaban here today.

You're right, it is 29th today. No announcement though, therefore it must be on Tuesday.
