Men are alwaz ready to hear their only ones whole-heartedly no matter if the gul is a big time chatter box or wutever.
I think women cannot even come close to what men do for their ones. Exceptions are there but that doesnt reflect overall picture.

I don't understand this concept. Basically a man has a woman to fulfill his needs, so why get into all these complications.

What is wife's obligation according to Islam on this?
I hope no one would flame me, but according to best of my knowledge Islamically the wife could not refuse to Husband (may be real headache or health problem would be difference matter).
On other side in order to have good and harmonious family life, both parties should respect each other's wish.

PCG this might come as a surprise to unmarried people, but, occoasional headache isn't much of a problem in marriage.

someone once told me , if the wife is ready to give in every time , a man has a tendency to get bored of her, therefore its ok to refuse AKA dramatize sometimes to keep the man on his toes

Nahi meray bhai, this is not true .. Hadees says that Angel will curse the woman for the whole night who make her husband angry by refusing sex ..
The key part of the hadees is not 'angel crusing the woman cause she said no' but 'if husband gets angry'. Husbands dont get angry that easily cause wife said no. They also understand that wife may not be in the mood. Hadees is true but there are very rare cases when that hadees becomes applicable.

This is the most lame excuse I ever heard about this scenario.
Actually it could make the spouse more disappointed, feel rejected and hurt the relationship, unless there is a genuine reason and excuse.
