We know from hadiths that Angels do that for every person after each of his prayer, so that it is graded out of ten. Don’t remember the exact reference but you may confirm it from your local scholar.
How do you perform it for yourself in order to improve your standard of dedication ?
I feel that it is more being an “Aashiq” of Allah (swt) and the Prophet (saw) than a “Slave” that effects the quality of one’s deeds. Because the concentration, motivation, energy and the feeling of repentance, thankfulness + begging for more ‘taufeeq’ is immense in case of a lover than a server.

Sometimes a Aashiq of ALLAH and his Rasool s.a.w loves em so much that he wants to spend rest of his life is slavery.... In my personal opnion that is when he hits the top. One more point is, If someone claims to be a slave of ALLAH and his Prophet s.a.w today, then he does it because of his love.

"....radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu...."
as we see in the above verse the believers are pleased with Allah SWT
but the word slave/servant has a glorious position
"....abdohu wa rasuluhu..."

Translation: *Love dives into the furnace of Nimrod without any hesitation
Logic is still standing dumb-founded*
Note: Hazrat Abraham (a.s) was willing to to be thrown into the furnace of Nimrod just because of his love of God, transcending and dumb-founding any logic.
