I was watching a programme “Sar-e-Aam” boradcasted by ARY News where representatives of ARY news team try to expose or lets say brought forward all those wrong doings which is going on right in front of us and we prefer to close our eyes as far its not harming us in anyway or not related to us. The ARY broadcasting was actually showing a documentary video about ‘net cafes in Moon Market Area, Lahore’ that how the made it same as a motel for unmarried couples and shows pornographic videos just for few bugs of money. Interesting, ‘Police’ and ‘Intazamia’ haven’t taken any actions when they came to know by ARY team.
I was looking for that ARY documentary clips on net but came across some another video clips which are more shocking than what going on in net cafe. In these clips a father tried to sell her daughter to save his son’s life.
ARY team visited many many places, homes where they found so many girls in this business. One of them said they are doing it from last five years. I wonder the Police and ‘intizamia’ within that area don’t know about it whereas a third person (ARY team member) expose it by running here and there and tried to link the puzzles. Finally he managed to solve this puzzle. You can watch these video clip for details.
So the most sucessful and profitable business is ‘Human Trafficking’ which is most profitable business around the world. After watching these video clips, some questions came into my mind that:
1- We don’t expect from the Govt that they’ll do something in this matter so this question is out of context.
2- Being an Islamic Country (being a Muslim) how come one indulge him/herself or bring any1 close to him/her into this business. Don’t they have fear of God?
3- How come they let anyone among them into this dirty business? and lastly,
4- How we can become benefitable for our country?
lol…i wish it was that simple…being a muslim…yea rite! kiss dunya may rehtay ho bhai…dude if religion was indeed that powerful, there would be no sin in this world… you are talking about the oldest profession on this planet…it is complex!
also why do we need to stop ourselves from doing something bad coz of religious fear…
why cant we stop doing it because it is bad for the society …
why do we need to bring God’s fear into everything?..
what about those societies that do not believe in God?..
how do they do character building ? …
by your token those societies should be completely lawless and immoral… but
actually those god-less societies have much better character than Muslims because they teach their kids the concept of right or wrong based on moral fabric and what is good or bad for a society…
whereas what do we do? we bring god’s fear into everything instead of teaching our kids their responsibilities towards society and instilling the difference between good and bad based on a moral framework and not because God will be get upset… dont do this coz you will burn in hell..will burn in grave…dar khauf…
I remember i had to do some banking so reluctantly went to one of the netcafes in moon market with my wife. The guys inside were so dodgy and kept looking and smiling as if we were doing something wrong.
I took my marriage certificate with me next time just in case :)
Religion is at his place is very strong but I would agreed if u said the belief of individuals get weaker. Well my discussion is not merely about religion but about the ‘wrong doings’ going on in a Islamic Country. btw which religion promote immoral act? So far I haven’t came across any such religion. Again I disagree with u that those god-less societies have much better character than Muslim. If so than why pplz from those socities reverting to Islam?
btw those god-less societies only promoting ‘Fitna’, nothing more than that which somehow leaving its effects in every Islamic country and now individuals from those god-less societies think —> how much they were wrong.
No need to watch the clips. Simple solution - legalize prostitution. Take the criminal angle out of the equation.cut out the middle man. Let the ladies keep their earnings rather than feed police and pimps. Spend money educating the ladies about other options. Finally give the ladies what they deserve - a respectable place in Society.
Religion is at his place is very strong but I would agreed if u said the belief of individuals get weaker.
with all due respect, I don't agree...not at all....
the strength of any religion is 100% correlated with the behavior of its followers ...if the followers of a certain religion are not behaving properly, it is about time for true believers of that religion to look into their religion more introspectively with open eyes and open hearts to see if anything is missing..you cant make a sweeping statement such as "our religion is the best..there is absolutely nothing wrong with it...the whole fault belong to human beings because we don't follow the religion" ... that is a pathetic approach ... do you even know what I am talking about? hint: Ijtihaad*, Ijma* and *Qiya*s.....
I never said religion promotes immoral act? where did i say that?.. so not sure what are you talking abt…
On second point…well l i leave it up to you..there are several god-less societies…Japan, Korea, all of Scandinavian countries and many others..yes they have some sort of spiritual presence i.e. budhism, Cheondoism, Taoism, Confucianism but unlike Muslim countries these societies are pretty much non-religious and more importantly the concept of God does not exist there…so my question to you was: how do these societies do character building ? how do they teach their kids what is right or wrong? and that by your token these societies should be completely lawless and immoral..but clearly that is not the case..
you did not offer any answer to my question…you don’t need religion or god to create a moral society..that is the point i was trying to make…
and if you think that the moral fabric of ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN is more stronger than japan or these countries…then what can i say..lol
and on your last point…“if so than why pplz from those socities reverting to Islam?”…
i just want to laugh…you are just too naive…stop believing in mullah’s baseless quotes…no such thing is happening … as a matter of fact, conservative Christians also promote such message that almost all of the Africa has become Christian and that the Jesus love is spreading around…lol…
lol…you are listening way too much to molana tariq jameel, or molana tahir ul qadri…or some other molana XYZ…or may be hanging out with a tableeghi jamat…
Fitna…lol..love this word! that is why 100% of pakistanis are ready to migrate to these fitna-based immoral, characterless, godless societies… oh i see…they want to do it so that they can “purify” these “dirty” societies…
Laally, 'religion' at his place is complete and perfect. Its not like a constitutionals laws of a government which can be runs by manys and if there is something missing they can looks/revised it as per their needs or can blame that the government is corrupt. As far other god-less countries, I haven't been there nor I mentioned in my first post to discuss about it.
Phoenixdesi, kidhar ka connection kidhar connect kr rahy ho :D

dekho sister...no religion is perfect or imperfect....yes fundamentals remain unchallenged (tauheed, Prophet Muhamamd being the last prophet, no-shirak, namaz, zakat etc) but then after that, Islam has put a huge premium on ijtihad, ijmah and qiyas to ensure that the religion remains intact with the particular realities of present day nuisances...but obviously that is beyond your "madrassah-based" knowledge base....everyone outside Pakistan is a "fitna"...and all these non-mulsim countries are converting to islam...lol
god-less societies..well i was just reflecting on your original comment "how come one indulge him/herself or bring any1 close to him/her into this business. Don't they have fear of God?"....you obviously have no answer ..so lets just stop here..
Lets play ur way :) You said how these god-less socities building character? By giving an example below I ask u to explain me first this.
A person say salam, another person say salam by shaking hand, and a third person say it by shaking hands and saluting. Obviously the last person have more good moral compairing to the first two. He or she were taught that if u do in such way, u'll be apprecited more. So who taught the third person to pay regards in this way? and the person who taught the third person this was learned from whom/where?
Simple is that u claim building charcaters was there in god-less socities too and my question is what is root of it i mean from where/to whom these building character started. Chalo bachoo! ab jawab do :)

not sure what exactly you are asking for but you got trapped by your own question.... those godless societies such as china, japan, korea, many democracies in europe ... they did not and do not learn moral character-building from any religion, because they do not believe in one....
the fact of the matter is that on the whole human beings want to be good and therefore they yearn for the good of humanity in the present life, without any need to reference to supernatural concepts, such as God or an afterlife. Now i am not preaching that one should be athiest....all i am saying that our way of character building is fundamentally flawed because we teach our kids what is good or bad based on fear of god only...simple questions such What does it mean to be good? How can I differentiate good from evil? Are morals objective or subjective? ... should be taught to kids based on what is good for humanity not because god wants us to do it. we bring god's fear into everything instead of teaching our kids their responsibilities towards society ... the focus shd be on instilling the difference between good and bad based on a moral framework...this will stay with them forever
