The pouty lip syndrome

OK so we were traveling back home from a recent trip and one of the stewardesses had a consistent lip pout and when she spoke it pouted even more. Hubby looked at me and was like “what’s that all about.”

I’ve seen many ladies who pout their lips even for basic family pictures.

Is this a fashion trend? Do I need to take lessons in pouting? :naak:

I know one girl who bugs her eyes out at the camera and thinks she is giving a "smoldering gaze" when its actually just two huge eyeballs.

Some people think if they do things like pout or bug their eyes out all the time, it will appear natural.

lol it's called the duck-lips. it's like when you make a kissy face but like ALWAYS. it's supposed to make you look sexy.

Lol, it seems to be a common syndrome! I wouldn't take lessons, it doesn't give all that good an impression. I am sure you look much prettier without the pout :)

Believeit or not, I left my phone upside down on my tray table with my video camera running to caught her and I didwhen she was serving us. Your thread just reminded me of that and I saw the video again. it was hilarious :D .. I may post that in one of our private blogs someday.

i see girls pix like that on fb all the time, they purse their lips together so that their cheeks look more hollow..
1-2 pix like that is fine, but having it as a pose ijust looks retarded

Well, I think the pout resembles the face people make when they kiss I guess. So maybe being in a constant state of “about to kiss” is sexy.

I once read in Cosmopolitan that guys like plump full pouty lips b/c it supposedly subtly reminds them of… something else.. :naak:

Unless that scientific reason/subtle reminder has anything to do with Miss Piggy, I am not sure how a constant poutiness could be considered sexy.

Ugh!!! I've seen sooo many pouty lip pictures on ratedesi.com and and few on Facebook as well. May sound harsh, but many times they don't even look attractive. If your lips are naturally pouty, then you'll have sort of a pout with your smile, and it looks good cuz it's natural. But those pictures often look forced and "trying too hard" and sorta trashy too (but that also depends on other things like clothes, body language, etc).
