Pakistan has talent but at a very individualistic level . As a nation we are dumbest of the dumbest . A reason why the same Pakistani go to other countries and become successful .
As I see it that in next 20 to 30 years we'll be at a stage where we would have enough experience from our mistakes , and we'll be ready for a huge change . But again it can be either way , if we won't be learning from our mistakes .
Till then we'll have to suffer , and I hope we'll keep getting people like Imran who are idealist . Only these kind of people can bring some true change .
Yes if situation will be right , inshaAllah then why would we be staying abroad .
Individualistic level is the right word used by you here. We are a nation which is far from ideal. Having said that, there are loads of good things about Pakistan that will stop it from staying in the rot that its leaders have left it in.
As a nation we need to be a lot less cynical about pakistan and more upbeat. But that bears down from the top. And this is where I once again agree with Namaan. That we need more idealist people out in the main stream. Who unfortunately choose to stay on the sidelines.
why do you have to be bossy here too?..khula saans leine k liye koi jagah na chorrna…
Pakistan’s biggest untapped resource is at the level of its own population…
i do agree that on a personal level individuals could struggle to bring about some kind of change and if enough people did that pakistan could progress significantly, however cynicism is inherent and why shouldnt it be? People who exhibit a potential to make contribution to Pakistan’s progress seem to end up being killed, shunned by society, or stopped/blocked by people who are in a position of authority over them… and moreover there are those who would stop at nothing to make sure that Pakistan not only remains in a state of uncertainty with respect to security but that its economy remains in a state where people are struggling to meet their basic needs **( when all you are thinking about is food and how to keep a roof of your family’s head and marry your daughters off why on god’s green earth would you be thinking bout making a difference to your country **aapko toh apne problems se hi fursat nahin<<okay so the bolded may be an exaggeration, but you get the point)
it really seems that one has to be really determined and willing to struggle and work hard sometimes for years on end to get somewhere in making a contribution the pakistan…and how many are really willing or able to do that?
THE DAY Pakistan gives up on its unrealistic goal of being on par with the Indian cricket team it will free up resources that can be directed gainfully.
Now thats way out line Southie saab. Why not stick to something civil, like Kashmir or Siachin!!
