The Pope's Visit

Is it just me, or do you sense this is a bad omen that he’s here visiting?

In other words, have things gotten this bad, that the Pope somehow is being guided by Allah to give one final reminder to take a right path before we swerve off to a really awful path?

No pope has done this before, and this same pope, although in his position for some years, has now decided to come over here to give a speech. Why?

Are we at a junction? Are we finally at the beginning of the End of Times? Is he trying to tell us "Get your **** together, because this plane is about to nosedive?

This is happening at the time of the Syrian Refugee Migration, ISIS, tremendous destabalization in the middle east, Palestine Genocide (yeah that’s right, I said it), and the predictions of Rasulullah like Prophecy of Najd, that the end of times will start in Syria, that the bad people will move to Iraq, while good people move out of that region, etc etc are all coming true. Right before the next election, when the US is very polarized, has actually LEGALIZED GAY MARRIAGE AND SEX, which is a final nail in the coffin that there is anything Christian left about the US, where even the Jewish couldn’t be farther from their religious values, where monotheism is dying, and people are rapidly losing their faith in God, faith in anything apart from their own selfishness and materialism, and where the earth itself is falling apart from Global Warming.

I feel like something inside him is knocking, and he is sensing humans are about to face hard times, and he needs to give that one final message: Believe in God, come to the Right Path, and stop doing bad things to each other, lest the systems we have built all fall apart and there is nothing but fitna everywhere.

I’m not excited about this visit. I find it eerie.

Re: The Pope's Visit

It is already end of times for those who died in these conflicts. The rest of us will follow soon enough.

Re: The Pope's Visit

Good lord this is depressing.

There are still lots of signs that haven't materialized yet.

Re: The Pope's Visit

visit to where ?

Re: The Pope's Visit

^ I've heard that Muslims will not see the 'final-final' signs of day of judgement.

But I think all the signs alluding to Imam Mehdi's arrival are definitely being materliased in various capacities. Maybe few more still to go...

Re: The Pope's Visit

The pope's central message was to be TOLERANT of each other. He said pray for me that I do my job well. And to the athiests, he said wish me well. He warned against religious extremism. And warned religious people they should not be about my way of life is better than yours. And my religion is better than yours.

OP appears to be concerned monotheism is dying. And OP is bent out of shape re "LEGALIZED GAY MARRIAGE AND SEX". These values run COUNTER to what the pope preached.

And run counter to what ANY religion should preach.

Re: The Pope's Visit

Nope. Not this pope. He wants to bring gays and lesbians back to church by making it easy on the clergy to overlook the 'sin'. I have a feeling LGBT lobby will not be placated by this. They will demand complete capitulation of the catholic church. The only thing this pope still strongly opposes is abortion.

Re: The Pope's Visit

Not sure where you and I differ. I was speaking about OP getting bent out of shape on the legalization. And stated those values that OP expressed run counter to the pope's overall message of tolerance towards all.

Re: The Pope's Visit

7000 security personnel were assigned. If the pope is serious about climate change, he should stop visiting places all around the world. We can't afford these emissions, padre.

Re: The Pope's Visit

You are right. I misread.
