we have talking caller id.. we pick up only if we know who is calling… there is this telemarketer who calls at least once a week… its been 4 years…never answered once..but those guys are persistent

Next time he calls , answer the call and see if you can sell him back his services !! he will be taken a back for sure !!

We had these duct cleaner calls in TO. Usually a desi guy, at his first job in Canada. We had told them a 100 million times we are not interested in duct cleaning, but that company always called. I felt bad for the telemarketers. So I never answered rudely.

Say you are about to leave the home for something, right when you are about to lock the doors, the landline phone rings. Would you come back in and answer the call or ignore it?

Only if I felt the call could be important, otherwise no..
