The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job - FIR against him [Uupdated]

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

I know…:frowning:

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

A person working in a private firm, no one knows how good or bad his performance was, how productive he was, or if he was a bully there, or an underdog, he got fired, and everyone here is making it a political stunt..

advice, PTI can make Dharna arrangements in from his what is his former office and force the owner/ceo of the company to resign and instead make him CEO or owner and that is all because he stood against VIP culture..

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

This type of retaliation should be illegal (its illegal in the US). He should go to the court if he thinks he was wronged.

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

the owner of the company that this guy used to work for and has been fired from is an EX politician.

politicians helping each other in maintaining VIP culture.

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

you just don't challenge the system, whether its working for the ppl or not !!!! because its pakistan

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

Here come excuses just because the guy challenged VIP culture and politicians involved belonged to party you support. Had he done the same to a PTI MNA, he would have become a hero for you and you wouldn't have asked such questions.

For me personally, i would salute the guy even if he acted like this against Imran Khan.

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

Who fired him

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

Same logic was used to justify NADRA chief Tariq Malik's ouster...
(oh, he used to be a member of PPP election cell....oh, he was a dual citizen and hid it from us.....oh, he was just inept....
and we found out all these facts at 2am the night before he was to verify votes)

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

You can salute any you may like, who is stopping you...

please bare me these kind of stupid replies and for once try to build a discussion let me remind you, you are not at siasat . pk kind of site where mere bashing or praising is what they all do

There can be several reason for his termination, may be company had already issued him termination notice or may be company may have decided to down size and his position is no longer needed or may be there are some disciplinary accusation against him, there may be chance that his performance is not as per the requirements.. who knows, there can be several reasons. As an employer myself, I personally know which guy i am going to keep and which i am going to terminate over the period of time.

Think about it for a minute, keeping guys nature and recent adventure in mind, would the company owner or decision maker don't know that this guy is going to go to media and may spoil their reputation etc. Do you personally think it is that easy for a private company to be take all kind of bull shyt from media..

just jump into conclusions by reading/viewing a report on media and specially by the person who have been caught lying on live tv... aka Mubashir Luqman. Just because he is in favor of IK, doesn't mean he have turned all saint.

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

Why are we blame the PML (N) when it could easily be the PPP unless Rehman Malik switched sides in the past few weeks?

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

This doesn't stop at any one party, so we don't have to "blame" any one of them. The mindset is at fault here. And this is a mindset, parties like for example Pml-NAWAZ and Ppp-BHUTTO condones and thrives with.

If one isn't able to admit this single fact, then one obviously don't care much for the nation.

I will never be able to understand, how anyone can support ppp and pml-n. Those are two parties, largely made of crooks, which everyone is well aware of.

Before I get accused, no, I am not a pti supporter.

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

Couldn't agree more. The same mind set exists in the PTI as well. After all most of those guys were either with the PPP or PML or ANP.

You don't go through so holy cleanser by changing parties.

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

Not surprised. When all those politicians gathered in the parliament and used it as platform to collectively condemned the man who stood up against VIP culture, instead of condemning the VIP, one could sense that some kind of lesson was on the way for Arjamand. There's a reason why the farce of join parliament session has made these status quo vultures even more unpopular. So much making shallow slogans about supremacy of the parliament, yet at the same time, they told the nation that would not use the same parliament to discuss people's problems - and no one can make them. The joint session has exposed them to the public so badly, and so did Arjmand. Of course they weren't going to leave him alone.

But credit goes to Arjmand for exposing the VIP, brining Pakistan hidden shame to mainstream debate. Unlike the vultures who opposed him the parliament, He has won the hearts and minds of the public. It wouldn't really be wrong to call him the modern day Rosa Parks of Pakistan.

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

Gerrys statement.

**Recently there has been flood of tweets and comments on Facebook backlashing Gerry's Group in response to sacking of Mr. Arjumund Hussain, Former General Manager Fedex Gerry's Group who played protagonist against VIP culture on PIA flight. We feel it is very important that we convey to people the other side of story.

As one of biggest Aviation Groups of Pakistan , Gerry's Group has consistent re...cord of outstanding performance which has won it much acclaim and a steady rise in repute, trust and confidence nationally as well as internationally. Every professional Organization has right to review the settlement with its employees based on their performance. Our decision has nothing to do with the PIA incident, we have been considering this decision lately.

As much as Gerry's Group condemns VIP culture and appreciates Mr. Arjumand's efforts against it, our decision is based purely on merit.**

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

and ppl think Gerry will come forward n accept it lolz of course they will defend themselves

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

If he worked at Gerry's, then that explains it all. Gerry's are corrupt to the core. You have to bribe them just to enter one of their offices. I have experienced this myself, first hand.

If you have connections, you will of course skip the queue totally. But that is the norm in Pakistan.

Gerry's words means next to nothing.

Re: The person who stood against VIP culture lost his job

Does that include everybody that works at Gerry? Or only the people we don't agree with?

Like I said, just because you switch sides doesn't give you a holy cleanse.
