seen it. Some things are true.

Re: The Perils of Prayer..

β€œWhat namaz is this???” :rotfl:

Re: The Perils of Prayer..

I saw some video in which a guy steals everyones shoes while people are in sajda..and one in which when they are in sajda the guy behind hits the guy in front with a chappal and then that guy gets hit by chappals in return.
On the humorous side its very funny and all..but if you think deeply about it then one must realize that the impact on non-muslims could be bad..i.e. this is bad impression of worship and the namaz - since as the Prophet (swt) has said that one must perform as if its his/her last prayer..and namaz is very soothing and one must be ttotaly involved in try of pleasing Allah. and its seems as if these people are making fun of the whole idea of namaz.
No offense taken just wanted to express myself.

I hope you dont mind sarah

Re: The Perils of Prayer..

^ Good points, and i had a feeling someone would come here and say that... but no i don't think it's making fun of namaz at all, but the ppl who r reading it....I'm sure ppl do get distracted wiht other thoughts unintentionally. Whether it's right or not, it does happen. i just think it was showing a funnier side to it. As for non-Muslims, i really don't think they have a right to say anything abt how we're following our religion...I think there's a big difference between making fun of a religion and its beliefs and laughing at your own ppl...

Re: The Perils of Prayer..

Peace

The correct adab for telling people about their wrongs is to tell them what the correct method is. This is nothing but cheap jokes at the expense of Muslims who are ignorant.
