lara, its a nice bag, but if you want to pay around $200 or even a bit more, there are much nicer bags out there in probably better quality leather too. i find banana so overpriced for the stuff they offer, i only ever shop there on sale.

I've been looking for a bag for months. I've been checking all those sites suggested above. Neimans, Saks & Bloomingdales were all offering 30-40% off names that never go on sale. I just can't find anything i'm crazy crazy about.
I saw a Tory Burch one I was kind of interested in but it was a snap close on the top. I want a zipper close.

I have been looking for a decent diaper bag for weeks n weeks now. The typical diaper bags (that I like) just seem too small.
The Michael Kors work tote is exactly what I had in mind, insert a Built NY double thirsty tote and cushy tushy change pad and I'm all set!!

Absolute BEST everyday bag is a basic Prada Testuo fabric bag. I have a convertible messenger really perfect for EVERYTHING! the fabric does not get messed up in rain or snow (if that’s an issue) I’ve stuffed it with food, files for work and extra shoes you name it! Its just perfect! Got it at Niemans for around $600 on sale from around $11000 (yea lucky break) My bag is something like this Prada - Medium Tessuto Vernice Tote - Saks.com

Oooh, I have a couple pieces from the Tessuto collection, mostly smaller clutches and things. I do not know, I don’t care for the nylon myself :-/

It's not formal but I live in the east coast and use my everyday bag very "rough" its perfect for that! It's not leather so it needs less care. I have a Calf skin Fendi which takes so much care but this one is a trooper! I wouldn't blow 2K on a Nylon bag but for the deal I got it has served me well!

somehowcollide, i'm going to get the michael kors harrison (for now)! i'm going to make a day trip up to buffalo to shop in feb, so i'm hoping it'll be on sale by then or maybe i'll find something even more fabulous. hehe
bags are usually an impulse buy for me- so even though i've done a lot of research because the price point is so high for this one and i am loving the MK right now- i know when i'm in buffalo, if something else catches me eye, i'll probably come home with that!
shoponline, the prada looks lovely but i can't bring myself to spend $1500 on a bag, let alone anything thats not leather- maybe if i win the lottery? :p

i saw some gorgeous bags at Coach today. But the thing that ruins it for me is the double-handle. I know they do it for versatility (to carry on teh shoulder or on elbow/hand), but i just dont like it.
And my issue wiht designer stuff...as much as I WANT a coach bag..i know if I save up i can have one..but I just cant feel right spending so much on it. Even if someone were to give me the money, i just think..dang..i could get 5 nice bags for this price!
But i vaaant!. kya karoon =//
