the perfect everyday black bag

ladies, i need help! i’ve been searching for the perfect everyday black bag and i haven’t been able to find anything. i’m willing to pay up to $500 for it- preferably leather (but not patent) or suede. any ideas? any sites?
it needs to be big enough to hold a book, an apple, a bit of my makeup, cellphone, my wallet, and a few other essentials. needs to be a shoulder bag and has to have a zip top, although if its fabulous, i’m willing to forgo that.

I once saw hte most gorgeous black bag from Cole Haan (or was it Michael Kors) at Macy's last year. One of these days....

You don’t need to shell out 500 bucks for an everyday use bag… just stop by the nearest Ross , Marshall or TJ max and you can get good designer hand bags for 100 to 150 $. I like Kenneth cole’s bags.They are stylish and functional.

A gorgeous Marc by Marc Jacobs, I love their pebbled leather, and their signature turnlock looks really classic. This one is a zip top Totally Turn-Lock Teri Shoulder Bag -  Neiman Marcus

I also love this M by MJ bag as well, Totally Turnlock Quinn Shoulder Bag -  Neiman Marcus It doesn’t have the zip top, but it does have the turnlock and looks really roomy.

And this M by MJ is probably one of their most popular, the Faridah hobo Turn-Lock Faridah Hobo, Cranberry Field or Nero -  Neiman Marcus
