The people of the book

Salaam everyone ! I hope you a very happy and healthy new year

We know that Jews, Christians and even Zoroastrians, according to many Ulamas, belong to “the people of the Book”, I would like to know why Muslims are not considered as being “People of the Book” too ? We have also a book, the Quran, the last one, it seems logical we are also “Ahlul Kitab” ?

I have another question : what do you think about the marriage between Christian or Jew women and Muslim Men ? Is it allowed ? Possible nowadays ?

Thank you/Merci !

Sorry, I wanted to post this topic in the Religion/Scriptures section !! If a modo can transfer this topic in the good section, I will be grateful ! Thanks ;-)

Re: Religion & Scripture

Sorry, there is a mistake in the title ! The original title of this topic is "The people of the Book" not "Religion and scripture".
