The Messenger of Allah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said: ?The Pen is lifted from three (i.e., their deeds are not recorded):
a child until he reaches puberty;
an insane man until he comes to his senses;
one who is asleep until he wakes up.?

by deeds does it mean both good n bad? ...... insane person until he comes to his senses..... so when someone gets angry isnt that momentary insanity??? ..... would his deeds get recorded in anger? ..... does this apply on temporary insanity too? ..... how can one knw if that person is insane at this moment? ......
You have mixed up two different scenarios. The word insane in the Hadees reffers to someone who is mentally challenged. People with anger management issues do not fall in this category. Anything done or said by a normal human in anger will definitely be recorded and that's the reason why ISLAM urges Muslims to sit down when they are in anger.
^ Hadees says until that person comes to his senses....... so that cant be mentally challenged person .........
what bout temporary insanity then? .....
Why are you relating anger with insanity? If someone gets angry and calm down later doesnt mean he or she was insane, the word insane is completely different from anger, anger is a state in which one knows what he or she is doing and we all know this we know what we are doing while getting angry though we realized later that we said or did wrong doesnt mean we dont know what we are doing while insanity is the thing where person doesnt know what he or she is doing infact i can say they even cannot recall what they have done
Allah is mentioning in verse 134 of Al e imran to repress the anger! Meaning its a state where person can control while insanity is uncontrollable that?s why you are not accountable

As for the anger thing, its the English translation of the Hadeeth...Though I think its obvious in english version that anger is not a mental disability but If you know Arabic well, read Hadeeth in Arabic, you would know what Hadeeth says...**
i am watching this tv show these days resurrection ertugrul...... not sure if u guys have seen it ..... this muslim guy from some tribe got caughht by christians ....... n they tortured him n gave him some potion which changed him........... which turned him into christian ..... he went against muslims for sometimes..... now thats temporary insanity isnt?? .....like sometimes some people go through such sitautions where they r not in their senses ........ n at that time that person would know he is doing the right thing but he ewas not ....... so how can one know if its temporary insanity?? ........
