Time to visit the Toronto Zoo 
Mind you, if you can’t manage the visit in the next few weeks that’s not a problem. The pandas are visiting for 10 years.

A panda was at Edinburgh Zoo. Dont know if its still around or been shipped back to China. A penguin escaped the other day

They will be in Toronto for 5 years and then moving to the Calgary zoo for another 5.
Hopes are that they will mate at some point during this time so that we can have a baby too!!!
I can't wait to go and see them!!
Haven't been to the zoo for a few years and am looking forward to seeing the new polar bear exhibit too.

Actually I would avoid going in the summer at all costs. It is sweltering in the middle of summer and walking around in such high temps is brutal.
In fact, it's better to go on a slightly overcast and cool (not cold) day. The animals come out of the shade.

Yup...jst checked...little Hudson is here, he is 410 pounds and still growing :D

They wrestle a lot. The young one there keeps annoying big old one :D l

yeah...overcast is best but I don't want to go when I have to wear jackets and boots......sorry...that's not my cup of tea.

So are they putting up an air-conditioned enclosure for them. Toronto summers can be quite scorching for the poor Pandas.
Saw them live at the Beijing zoo last year, but wasn't too impressed. They are pretty lethargic and kind of boring to just look at.

i saw a couple of pandas at the smithsonian zoo yesterday. they are male and female and kept next to each others enclosures and were going crazy in anticipation of ...baby panda making. not at all the sleepy cute panda image i had. -___-
