First of all, Islam is not merely a Religon. It is a complete way of life influencing the individual and collective life of Muslims encompassing political, social and economical spheres, where it is called a DEEN. There is no concept of “Religion being a personal matter if an individual” in Islam. To say so, is to commit SHIRK"… I can challange you on this. Prove me wrong here. SECULARISM is SHIRK. End of story.
