Those of u have sky digital will have noticed that the pakistani channel is givibg free 24hr transmission,
I think the channel is really good, The dramas are brand new, New pop songs and filmi songs programmes, i think there is gona be big competition between Prime Tv and the Pakistani channel
Anyone subscribed to either channels?

we've suscribed to the pakistani channel while prime was free difference between em is pakisatni channel have live programs where as 4 prime there all recorded i think every pakistani should suscribe to prime or pakistan instead of zee and sony i know most pak ppl usually suscribe sony couse off cricket but if pakisatni channels get more support they will buy the cricket too

Yeah coolmunda, it has started 24 hour transmission. Dramas are good, and theres also that other one called Asia1 TV, you are probably getting that also.
Yes Asia 1 also but it's a little boring the programmes seem to be old and also the movies,
and B4U music, Laskara, Channel East are also free at the moment,
I think b4u music is the best, coz it shows the latest released songs and interviews also.
Have u tried the radio channels 930- BBC asian network, and also Sunrise and Punjab Radio?

Yes, they are pretty good - god healthy competition.
Also there is a third one Anjuman - frequency 12.400 - that is also pretty good - this will be on channel 694 soon but you can pick it up on the above frequency for the time being.
please can u give me instructions on how to set up the frequency in order to get that channel?
What is the channel like? is it pakistani? programmes?

You can only et this on Sky Digital. So if you have that here are the instructions.
First press the Services button. when you get there enter option 4, you will get another menu on this also enter 4. This will take you to a screen where you can add the frequency. Hilight the Frequency line and enter 12400 which will translate to 12.400.
Once you have done this highlight the FIND CHANNEL option and then press the SELECT button. This will then comeback with a list of channels available on that frequency - some of these you will have already - others are new ones which are not yet broadcasting. Anyway the one you want is REM1 - highlight this and press the yellow button - this will then tick this and you will then need to press the select button to select it.
IF you want any of the other channels just go down the list and tick the ones you want before you select. REM2 and REM3 are the LASHKARA channels and the GURJARI channels.
Once you have selected your channels. You are now able to watch them. To do that when you are back to the normal channels - press the SERVICES button and then enter 6. This will list the channels that you have chosen. Just go to the channel you want to view and press select and viola you can watch what you have been missing.
The channel is advertised as an Urdu/Islamic channel. From what I have seen everything on it is Pakistan - mostly anyway. Similar in style to the other two channels and on par with them as well.

Yeah Asia 1 is not all that, but a few good dramas on it, which i always watch.
B4U-uh uh may aswell watch MTV, cuz all you see is a load of wannabees, they make me laugh. Some nice music though.
The radio channels are also good, that is if you are reading and have it on in the back ground, otherwise it aint much fun watching a blank blue screen
can you guys tell me if there’s a website where i can get info about this pakistan channel. I am located in USA and i don’t know if it’s offered here

Thats OK - Anjuman is now on channel 694.

You should be able to get these channels if you have access to the BSKYB satellite system.
If you do not then I think some of these channels are available in the Scandanavian countries on the TELENOR system - I think you need to subscribe to these channels.

sadly, I wouldn't know the first thing about engineering.
Its just a case of over using the system.
Anyway - as far as MBC is concerned - you could get on the old analogue system but not on the new digital system.
The only way I can think of getting it is - get a motorised dish and then hunt around to pick it up there.
