Here is a joke and only a joke that I heard only a few weeks ago at work (where there are a number of Indians and some who I do not know whether Indian or Pakistani)>
A: Why is USA giving our tax money to Pakistan B: Oh it is not really aid, we are reimbursing the war expenses for each Paksitan soldier deployed A: So you are saying each soldier in Pakistan costs $15000 above and beyond their salary etc which Pakistan has to pay anyway?
B: Yeah but don't forget each soldier is equal to 10 Indians, so USA is getting a very good deal!
