Ofcourse they are westernized. They were born in the west, not in Pakistan. They went to top schools, work in top firms, highly educated, are associated with multiple NGOs, have traveled around the world met more people from different backgrounds and still consider themselves muslims ven after having a glass of wine after dinner with their christian wife..
but you know what…they are not as good a muslim as a paki whose biggest ambition in life is to determine who is a better muslim.
Myopia here knows no bounds. Dating doesn’t mean sleeping around and it is not just a gora virtue..drinking doesn’t mean being a drunk…moderation whether relgiion or elixirs is the best thing for humans.
Secondly, I hav enever found these guys speak of Pakistan or the culture in a derogatory manner. I think people like these are the best ambassadors of a country. YOur friends apparently need to meet these guys…have a drink. Maybe one of your gf’s would end up liking one of the guys..never know..love conquers all..even religion.
