The other end of the line

has anyone liked it?i thought it to b good from trailer but it didn’t impress me.indians jut dunno know how to make good hollywood standard romance.
lol never knew the real story behind call centres.

Re: The other end of the line

well the movie isn't bad if u watch that kinda chick flick sort of things. but there were things that annoyed me so much. like the girl decided to go to american, and at night she took a flight and got there. umm...what about visa? it's REALLY not that easy to get the visa. phir the father is poor, he can hardly afford a saree that his daughter wanted, how did he afford 3 plain ticket to ameirca, and again he, his wife and his also just took a flight to america, no visa or anythig.
it was just too unrealiztic. and TOO SLOW. but i didn't mine, i was too boared when i watched that movie, so i enjoyed it, even though it annoyed me throughly

an Indian co-produced it. though he is a NRI, and is considered a Hollywood producer.
rest, the writing and direction was by firangis.
so yeah, that is your Hollywood romantic film.

Re: The other end of the line

^still its not the same.dunno why but it had lot of indian touches.how could a hollywood producer/writer/director team ignored the visa thing?it surprised me too coz visa to america is not that easy esp for a single girl travelling(even for us in canada its such a complicated thing for non citizens) .n the way she googled n find answer to each of Grangers question in secs was strange so was when they showed the girls relatives had a wedding but they showed no real wedding thing,no bride or groom.n the aunts living in US talking in pure indian accent.mostly hollywood pay lot of attention to details.

Re: The other end of the line

Dunno. people who are most involved with a film were all non-Indians.
i guess, they watched a bit too many horrible 90s Bollywood films.
