are these new or old pics ? I mean is the house still standing ?
Didn't the Saudi authorities destroy all old buildings in and around Mecca?

We (Read: Saudies) have ruined our own histroy and past with our own hands by destroying these things in the name of destroying bidah... .. Now, we are only left with pictures and books.

I don't think they did it for the sake of bidah. And now they're building tallest buildings in the world in Makkah. isn't that a bidah......no, its not a bidah, its a sign of Last hour.(qurb-e-qyamat)

I think Saudis are right in removing these places where no one lives and no one prays anymore. Atleast saudis are not destroying places of worship like pakistanis.

well lets talk about one thing at a time.
these are sites of historical importance, and should have been preserved.
the excuse that some idiots would go and worship the place so lets raze it is pathetic.
ppl go and try to worship the prophets grave too, and get slapped around by the guards, should they raze that too?

That is not the reason why they were razed......It was bcoz there was no space to house the pilgrims.
They only started to remove the buildings in the 80's........bcoz the number of Hujjaj was increasing and there were limited places to put them.

But I agree they could have done something to save them.

Oh I believe Allah exists and His Message (Quran) is proof of His messenger, The Exalted Prophet Muhammad, the final messenger and prophet to humanity, and that the Message was Revealed in Arabic :) so yes, what's next...
