this Bradford dude (who's a winning team leader from episode 1) gets all hyped up in the board room and offers himself up for axing just like the rest of his team..
Trump takes him up on his offer and duly fires him.

yeah - even though Trump said that he thought Bradford was "the best one in the room", he had made a stupid, impulsive and life-altering decision by giving up his exemption, and it's that type of single, impulsive decision that can destroy a company. Hence, Trump fired Bradford!!
Stacey J makes for a much more interesting competitor than Bradford.. it's always about keeping it alive and exciting for the viewers... which is why Raj might go much further than he deserves.
