Seems like a good idea. Last I heard there was a 1 square mile of plastic flaring in the ocean. Probably has grown some.
Each time we buy a plastic water bottle or soft drink, unless the bottle is recycled, it ends up in landfill. Cruise ships are known to just dump stuff onto the ocean - so I hear.

The seas and oceans are the guarantors of life on earth and we are creating pollution in the oceans by throwing garbage into oceans as plastic waste and nuclear waste also thrown into oceans by many countries which create environmental pollution and become a major reason for climate change.
It is good there is some initiative being taken to do something. It is disappointing how apathetic people are to the destruction of the environment that they cannot even do the simplest things to avoid it, like throwing away their garbage where it belongs.
