Yesterday i watched initial 5 minutes of the movie on YouTube and man i loved it.... First 5 minutes were full of horror and suspense, but i do not know if rest of the movie is as good as the initial part of the movie is...
Has anybody watched it ?
I watched it. It had some moments that were well-executed; that induced fright. But overall.....it was average.
I will admit that the movie makes you kinda fearful/wary of those old-fashioned type burkahs. They're not very common these days, but I did used to have a friend who wore it here (in the US).
Ooooh....I can't believe I forgot to share what happened about 5 minutes ago. The janitor-lady at my workplace and I are chummy. We both share a love of horror movies. I saw her walking down the hallway ...lost in her own world....and I quietly padded behind her and she was none the wiser. She stopped right in front of the elevator, waiting for it to open. For once I am grateful that our elevator takes forever to open. It gave me enough time to pull my charcoal gray cardigan/sweater over my head......in the shape of the burkah.....and then I whispered her name ever-so slowly..."K----------" She freaked out and I burst out laughing. I know she'll get me back next time.
But.....right after that successful scare.....I returned to m room and found this thread on The Nun.....which is just what my little prank was inspired by. ;)

No, we don't usually prank each other. Today was a first, I think. Thankfully she's easier to spot (and hear) with her broom and cart in tow. So, it'll harder for her to get me back, lol.
I've watched many horror movies alone; not a big deal. It's a shame that I don't know many people who like that genre. But these days my best friend is in town and we share the same taste in movies, so......the more the merrier.
It was boring.
Brother this movie is part of the Conjuring universe/enterprise, several movies have come out with interlinked storylines and plots, making prequels and sequels of different plots in timelines, similar to the Marvel or Monster (Godzilla/King Kong) universe.
The only movie that impressed was the original The Conjuring that started the enterprise, since than have only watched Conjuring 2 and Annabelle Creation which i found boring.
