haan tho?

And are these muslims who congregate on the ground in villages useful as muslims? What have they done for anyone?

Utility. Its a concept that has gone over the heads of so many.

according to your logic...then what have you done for humanity? if nothing really, then are you even useful being a human?
their worth is with allah and we can not question people and say what have they done for islam, may be they sponser an orphan or a widow at night so no one sees their charity, or they feed the poor in thier homes so no one knows about it, or may be the are willing to die to protect the honor of one innocent girl from being snatched...

may allah grant us the honor to be able to say no to an unjust ruler and not humiliate us by bowing down to false gods of today....
may allah grant them shadah which they desire and grant them salvation from his limitless mercy.

woah dejavu.
They are all MAToos i say.

The only common features I see in the picture are some people from the tribal area sitting on the ground, most of them have their head covered and a few elderly have beards. So, if these things make them Mullah's and Ayat Uallah's then be it. At least form what it seems these are three things any Militry-American-piTThoo would never do even in his dreams, since he things himself to be so self righteous, civilized and "non-judge mental".

i'm curious to know.. what makes them noble? they could all have been released from Peshawar jail for all u know?

^^

Atleast one thing, that differentiates them from others, is the fact that there thinking is still 'their own.' They can decide for themselves. They don't bow against and stay silent at external oppression, and don't compromise cheaply -- unlike us 'civilized' and 'cultured' Pakistanis. They have the courage to stick to the principles they believe in, whether good or bad -- even to the extent that they are willing to die for it.

No one is perfect, including these tribal people. They need improvements in lots of areas, we all know that. They need to improve at education, there are many unjust rituals in their society that they need to get rid of, they need to catch up with the rest of the world etc. However, we can outline a similar sketch of 'literate' Pakistanis also. Given that, the important thing is that we should appreciate the good where ever it exists, even in 'backward people' like these.

Lajawab, I see that the filename of this picture is “matoos”. Not good, brother. Not good. You should have called the filename “NobleMen” or something.

because they wear turbans and sit on the ground and have beards while the rest of the world is directly the opposite??

My bhai, they are still subject to the same influences - what you like to call "oppression". Except, its internal. They are doing what their forefathers have been doing, and they dont have the guts to do their own thing, to make their own traditions. So they don't go against their own culture. How does that make them better than the Englishtani (Western wannabe pakistani) counterparts?

They are not noble muslim men....they are more like noble muslim khars i.e. donkeys.

Faisal, I thought of changing the name of the pic but decided against it for only one reason...To emphasize the fact that a rose by any other name is still a rose...Meaning, no matter what you call these brave and noble men whether terrorists, extremists, fundamentalists or whatever...It wouldn't change the fact of what they are...Men of faith...

I pray to the one and only God, oh Allah (swt), may you free these brave and noble men from the treacherous brotherhood of the likes of Lajawabs and his kind. May you give us freedom so we can be what we wish to be and not be controlled by these hypocrites. May you free our children so they don’t grow up to be sacrificial goats for their superstitious OMMAH and their qoom-e-PAK. On one hand they bomb our villages and on the next the praise us.

May you help us get freedom from these munafiqs.

probably not.. or you see more in appearances than I'd care for..

enlighten me still.. what compels you into the belief that these people are 'noble'.. I can see it's not just being a furball alone.. cuz I can spot some with a clean shave..
