There was media speculation an year back that Aishwarya Rai was going to be the next Bond girl and that turned out to be a downer. But the latest buzz making the rounds is that our very own Bad Man, Gulshan Grover will play the lead villain in the next James Bond movie titled Casino Royale. Grover seems to be really excited with the role and said he will try to finish all his prior commitments before he commences shooting early next year in Prague. Other Indians to star in a Bond film previously are tennis star Vijay Amritraj and actor Kabir Bedi both of whom acted in Octopussy (1983).
Gulshan has done quite a few International films, some of them including The Second Jungle Book, Monsoon, Tail Sting and Eastside. It may be recalled that he was bitter when he lost the part of Captain Nemo in the film The League of Extra-ordinary Gentlemen to Naseeruddin Shah.
Naseeruddin Shah is another class item as well but his role in LXG (league of extra ordinary gentlemen) was… well, wierd. Infact the whole movie was wierd. Extremely wierd…
