Appropriately enough Brodeur led the way with his 3rd shutout of the series. This was brick-town hockey darlings, and the cup is back where it rightfully belongs, away from the pg-rated west coast!

Yeah, DEVILS played like Champs. I didn’t watch the game but when I passed by the Cafe in Downtown, people were coming out heart-broken. DUCKS never got it goin’ as they have never been in this position before but give alot of credit to the MIGHTY DUCKS, who outclassed teams like Detriot and Dallas in the playoffs this year; and pushed the Final series to 7 games. Weren’t you East Coast dudes thought of clean swept when DUCKS went down 2 games to none? C’mon, don’t tell a lie.

It was a pathetic sportmanship shown by the New Jersey crowd when **Jean-Sebastien Giguere named as the MVP of the Playoffs. **
Look, who’s still jealous after winning a Stanley Cup. 
PT: the cocky Joursey crowd let their feelings knew..it was a fantastic series..and some serious pasting by the mighty Devils..they won it in style..WOOOHOOO !!! hug the big fat mouse..
Well yeah, the same feelings or sportmanship, I talked about: 'Jealousy of DEVILS Crowd'
Even though, I'm not into NHL but I precisely know what style really means. DEVILS didn't win the Championship in Style. People never thought of MIGHTY DUCKS to be qaulified for playoffs and taking the Finals to Game 7. Had the DEVILS swept the game or even eliminated the DUCKS in Game 5, that would be called the style. Coming down from the deficit of 2-0 by DUCKS and pushing the series to last game, showed how hard they worked throughtout the season. :) The rookie Coach took the team from the bottom to the top. Now, I must say some of you don't like it, but, dear it's a fact. Anaheim, Southern California, where there ain't no sign of snow, were in the Stanely Cup Finals.
While, I didn't like the impression shown by the NJ Crowd but it was nice to see DEVILS players applauded for Giguere. :) New Jersey is right up there in the Champsions row along with Colorado and Detriot. Anaheim are nowhere near but hey, still there are the runner ups, and stunned the NHL fans this year.

the NJ Devils won the stanley cup finals. they blanked the ducks three goals to zip. it is amazing that no one in this forum is intrested in any other sports other than basketball or cricket...

Well played series by the Devils. There trademark style of defense plus a great goalie has really paid off. I guess there is reason to be happy for the win since the Devils do set a good example to other NHL teams not too overspend and to develop there own players. (note to Glenn Sather and the Rangers)
The franchise is really impressive and there management is terrific.
the Ducks also did an amazing job to get as far as they did, who would have thought at the start of the playoffs that the Ducks owuld be in the final.
