was just thinking that we need a better classification of guppies…
the normal junior member, senior member ain’t good enuff…
we need to come up with something more precise…
like new member, member, senior member…
then we can have a valued member, based on contribution…
a person who has put high-quality 5,000 posts is much more valuable than someone who has gone to 10,000 with more smilies than words…
and then we can have some mroe creative titles for vig (very important guppies)…

Help me understand. You want to replace the word "junior" with "new". And then you want someone to determine which member has more valuable contribution and give them a title accordingly?
The first part is cosmetic. EIther of the words give the same meaning. On the second part, we have enough issues as it is with charges of favoritism and all that, so lets not go there. In any case, we simplify the whole thing by allowing members to have custom titles when they have more than 1,000 posts. That should work, right?
