Rumour has it Urban Decay are cashing in on the Naked hype and releasing a second edition this coming Monday. I’ve posted pictures of the first Naked colours so you can see what’s different. They’re all new shades apart from Half Baked which is repeated, I was quite suprised this is the case because at first glance I thought the colours were very very similiar. I would definitely want to swatch it before buying. What do you guys think? I’m a sucker when it comes to nudes, I have a feeling I’ll be adding this to my collection.
The first pallete had an eyeliner included with a mini primer and the new pallete is suppose to have mini gloss and duel-ended brush which would be pretty cool.
Oh dear. I cannit justify buying it, even though I quite likey nude shades myself these days. Although these ones all look a nittle too shimmery for me. Im trying to step away from the glitta :(
I think I'm buying it! love my first one even though I've used it a handful of times but the colours are beautiful! What's the retail price for this? and WHERE can i buy it from?
Haha, yeah I posted about this in the previous Naked Palette thread. Also, according to a UD rep the lipgloss won't be included, it'll actually be a Primer Potion in the color Sin. It'll be available Dec 1 (Thursday) on their website and then in stores possibly early 2012. Then there are talks of just a plain matte palette which will be sometime 2012 as well.
And Cuppeh', the retail price is most likely to be the same.
And I'm gonna end up buying it too most probably. I'll see how it swatches and compares to the first one. I love shimmer so I don't mind, I end up using my MAC mattes to blend and define anyway since I notice the UD shadows are so buttery and smooth that they often just blend into one soft, not-defined kind of look. That's why having a few mattes would have helped.
And I HATE double-ended brushes with a passion, I'll most likely never use the one that comes with it. In fact, I hate synthetic brushes (esp. the ones UD makes) b/c they just do not pick up pigment as the natural bristled brushes do.
They're pretty, but they are common colors (gold, bronze, brown, black, olive green, etc) that most women tend to have. I don't see a huge difference between the two.
^One is supposed to be warmer while this second one is on the "cooler" side. And it's the Naked palette, it's meant to have neutrals. :) But I agree, very easily dupe-able colors.
I hope they dont discontinue Naked palette (The original one) as i still have to buy it lol…im gonna buy both of them for sure! Cant go wrong with my UD paletters
They aren't going to discontinue the first palette, it was the item that REALLY put Urban Decay on the map. They just expanded the Naked line, basically. And @Cinnamonroll, I know a lot of people that dont like the first palette because it's too shimmery etc.
