Re: The Muslim Vote
^well, i am really interested in knowing as to what's going on. I know one or two folks in person that were wrongfully accused by the US government. One of them had to renounce his US residency, even after winning a court battle - nonetheless, as a professor , he garnered support of all the faculty from his university, despite the fact that the US governmennt laid forged charges against him. So, clearly there's a difference.
I was at the US customs a month ago, while driving to Tacoma. After fingerprinting me, these were the exact words of the US Customs and Border Protection Official, "Sir, if it was up to me I would like to have you for dinner at my residence, but, these are the rules laid by our government". Initially, I was taken by surprise as to what he's trying to say, and then I realized.
Clearly, in vast my experience, it's not the average American who is anti-muslim.
