Its so freaking difficult to get the hair out of these things … Even though i try to brush the entire floor before mopping … but still the hair come out of somewhere or the other and stick to the mop …
I use the thread wala mop … should I get a different mop or use a different cleaning technique?
I use the vileda flat mop…way better… With the seperation bucket… Soap it …put it in the squeezer thats built in the bucket and off u go… Dont get ure hnds dirty át all.
i’ve a ToTkaa for you CB…mop the floor with a ‘live cat’. hold the cat with her tail and make sweeping moves to collect all the dirt and then mop…VOILA! it’s spic N span with no hair clinging to your mop yeh aazmoodah ToTkaa hai
i used to use the swiffer sweeper but it was so expensive buying the replacement pads and the spray so i switched over to shark steam mop..does it`s job in no time :D
You'll have the problem with stray hairs no matter what kind of mop you use, I've tried all kinds and still find pesky stray hairs everywhere. Sometimes I'm amazed that I'm not bald.
I disagree :)
I've swept the floor, then vacuumed it and then mopped it only to find stray hairs. My theory is that that its probably hair that's shed from my clothes? Can't think of anything else....
Swiffer sweeper vac (which is okay... but runs out of battery waaay too quickly.)
Shark steam mop
I personally like the steam mop.... because it not only gets the job done but is also cost effective (like someone already said, the replacement cloths for the swiffer mop/vac can cost you quite a bit in the long run.)
i vacuum the floor as well before mopping but yes there will always be little bits of hair even after careful vacuuming :( and for those of you who don't like spending the money on the swifter replacement pads try the vileda pro mist it works just as well and the pads are washable so you can just throw it in your machine along with your clothes and that saves you in having to buy the replacements for a while
