the messed up world we live in...an incident in my village

u know when some incidents shake ur faith in humanity and u get so scared of what the human being is capable of..

this is one of them…

a man in our village killed his real blood father…

he hid the corpse in his house…

every morning he would put the corpse on some phattay, woden boards, hide it in that, carry it on his shoulders, and take it to the fields where he works..

and bring it back into his house at night..

after many days, people started getting suspicious..and they smelt something from his house..

finally the secret was uncovered..the man’s wife knew abt the whole incident as well..and his siblings..

by that time the body was covered with insects and rotting…

the departed got a janaza and funeral…

shockingly sad.. why would he do that?

How come nobody mentioned this to police or anyone else if the family members knew about it.. either the whole family is psycho or just too ignorant to care..

I am still wondering how would he take the corpse on his shoulders and stay in fields all day long... eeek some people are so pathetic that you can ever imagine..
Irem, did you hear through a reliable source or someone who has added some "mirch masala" to it?

GtG the reasons were a family feud...hmm...no mirch masala..its true...

For some reason I’ve always been scared of villagers and villages :-\

This story doesn’t help :bummer:

well i've heard plenty of strange stories from my village too. Nothing as extreme as that though. thank god.

apart from a few namooneh, generally village ppl are the most friendly and open ppl in pak, so you've got nowt to worry about.

The father must have pissed off his son real bad. In my village, killing someone is used only as a last resort. We settle our minor disputes by breaking legs or chopping off may be 3 or 4 fingers. Killing is reserved for major disputes like someone drinking water from our well without permission.

Are you Brahman ?

the story seems so western....
i thought such psychos (who carry dead bodies around with them) exist only in the west....

or maybe irem baji has her village westernized too.... :p

shivers, what freak

why didn't he just cremate it in the tandoor instead?

i just remembered something, probably a decade or so ago, a girl from our village was kidnapped by some tribal pakhtoons and married off to one of the guys from thier tribes. The girl used to attend sewing and craft classes, where she was brefriended by a lady who was in the business of kidnapping girls and selling them off to pakhtoons for a hefty sum.

Meanwhile her family contacted one of the local leaders and though it took a year or so, they managed to locate her in one of the tribal villages. she was contacted by one of the men who got the message across that her father and family were waiting and if she wanted to come back with them. So they managed to bring her and her few months old daughter back to her home.

Her pakhtoon husband and his parents came to our village a couple of times to persuade the family to let her come back, but they never agreed.

Although it sounds like a happy ever after story, the sad thing is, she was forced to give up her daughter for adoption, as she was supposedly 'illegitimate'. On top of that she wasnt accepted fully back into society as apparently she was 'tainted' and is now married again as far as i know.

Its sad and pathetic, but this time i go back, i'll make sure I find out her side of the story.

its not religion section. but I must add something here.
Sunni Salafi scholars have advocated and Fatawas are there
that in such cases(like Bosnia) children must be adopted by Muslims.

You must have never been to Pakistan. Over there, you avoid the police like a plague. It's better to just look and forget, rather than calling the police. They will come and blame it on the very person who reported the crime.

No. Its just Jahiliyaat. Lekn I feel Its good for the well being of the
child. Keeping in view the ignorance of the community in question.

But this village seems not that much Jahil. Its nothing compared to
the horror stories we read today.

Obviously nothing like this ever happens in major cities?

Like this guy in brampton who killed his wife, chopped her up and put the pieces in a deep freezer. Then every week he would get rid of some of the pieces through the weekly garbage collection. Until somehow he got caught.
