Asad Umar is a class no doubt.. the guy who is leading PMLN economic team Miftah Ismail is no less. It’s good to see political parties turning to men who have come from real world and have enough exposure. Political slogans apart.. it’s indeed a very healthy trend. Miftah hails from Karachi.. is a memon with a very successful business. He is a Phd. in economics from Upenn..
Miftah left his business to be run by family about two years ago.. and shifted to Lahore. He joined Shahbaz Sharif as a chairman of board of investments Punjab.. and was the main guy formulating the economic plan for PMLN. He has written the economic and energy related plans for PMLN in their manifesto.
Now a days he is appearing in many serious economic related shows to highlight PMLN plans on TV. He is a man of high wisdom..
It’s heartening to see both these political parties are going after high quality human resource available in the country.. and giving them such importance in formulating the economic policies for their respective parties..
