I love cloves, I also made garlic mashed potatoes with cloves and they were heavenly. Lately I have been using Italian spice mix and is quite flavorful.

Nothing much to it, just boil peeled potatoes with cloves and salt, strain, add minced garlic, cream, butter and dried parley, mash and fluff with a fork.

You may use milk, I normally use milk..I love gravy with mashed potatoes. What were you planning to use them as side for?

I cant use milk either. Whatever I cook it is always only and the main dish. I will try without cream and milk.

You may also use chicken broth or bone broth.

In my opinion, for Pakistani cuisine it is the dry roasted cumin power.

For Thai cuisine: coconut milk

I think Cinammon is a really good ingredient , it adds such a beautiful aroma to the food , be it English Cuisine or desi :sahar02::sahar02:

Plus Thais use the damn fish sauce in everything and stinks up the house.

Pakistani Cuisine - turmeric powder

Chinese Cuisine - light soya sauce

Gujrati Cuisine - yogurt

British Cuisine - lemon

My boy gags when I tried using thai curry sauces then I looked up the ingredients and they all have fish sauce. I think you boil fish heads to get the magic flavor.

You mean cassia bark or cinnamon? Because in Pakistan we only get cassia bark.
